Scam Awareness & Fraud Prevention Workshop – 6 October 2025
Scam Shield India, in collaboration with Our Helping Hand, successfully organized a Scam Awareness & Fraud Prevention Workshop on 6th October 2025, aimed at educating citizens about the rising threats of digital fraud, online scams, financial cybercrime, social engineering attacks and sextortion
The workshop was led by Tushar Srivastava, Founder and CEO of Vyrosec and Initiator of Scam Shield India, a leading voice in India’s scam awareness and cybersecurity education movement. The session focused on real-world scam cases, preventive strategies, and practical steps individuals can take to protect themselves from fraud happening in society today.
This initiative reflects a growing need for community-driven scam awareness programs in India, empowering people with the right knowledge to identify, avoid, and report scams before financial or emotional damage occurs.
Scam Awareness Table Talk Session – 11 November 2025
The Lions Club successfully organized an interactive Scam Awareness Table Talk Session on 11th November 2025 in collaboration with Scam Shield India, focusing on the growing rise of online frauds, cyber scams, and financial crimes in society.
The session was led by Tushar Srivastava, Founder and CEO of Vyrosec and Initiator of Scam Shield India, where participants openly discussed real-world scam cases, fraud tactics, and preventive measures. Unlike a traditional seminar, the table talk format encouraged active public participation, allowing attendees to ask questions, share experiences, and understand how modern scams operate.
Major cyber frauds including Digital Arrest scams, Sextortion scams, phishing attacks, fake investment schemes, UPI frauds, job scams, KYC scams, and social media impersonation frauds were discussed during the session.
This initiative reflects the Lions Club’s commitment toward cyber awareness, public safety, and scam prevention education in India.
